Hello to All!
I'm still over the moon at how we were all able to CELEBRATE Zane together this past Friday night. My family/friends that were visiting from elsewhere have all just about made it back to their parts about the country.
If you missed the ceremony, you can watch The Facebook Live video (click link below). I'm not certain if you must have a Facebook account. I don't think so, but I could be wrong. I am working to get the video downloaded and saved to YouTube and the computer. Haven't sorted that just yet.
Saturday, though, I checked my mail and this was waiting! My ZANER tag! Now I just gotta get a car!!!
I’m exhausted and still working through all the packed up things. I’m finding some beautiful surprises in the mementos left behind. I have a long way to go still and probably will need help identifying who left some of the things, but I'd like to start with recognizing this piece here.
For those who attended, near the end you heard me speak about systemic policy change to honor Zane's legacy and recognized a few ladies in the "house." Anna Eskamani, our Florida District 47 House of Representative and her colleague Cheyenne presented Zane with this esteemed honor, a Florida House of Representatives Tribute. I should have read it out loud. That was a mistake on my part, but I invite you ALL to read it now.
