Reflecting on the Past Year

Today marks one year that I brought Zane home. The morning we boarded that survival medical plane, I wondered if Zane would survive the flight. I was petrified to take him home, but I fought like hell to do it. Why? Because the alternative was him going to a long term care facility in Memphis, where we didn’t live, during Covid, where I was not going to be allowed to see him. Neither of us would have survived that.

So, no regrets. And we’re still fighting through this thing together side by side. Keep praying for Zane, everyone. #MakeZaneBetter
