Kicking off the Zaner Celebration Tri-State Tour

Couple of updates from the first two stops on the Zaner Celebration Tour:

Greetings from Pennsylvania, the first stop on a Zaner Tri-State Celebration Tour. The first stop was an emotional one. I took Zane to meet his grandmother at her gravesite in Bensalem. It was painful to make this first meeting for both of them posthumously. You'll see she is buried with her infant son who didn't live a full day.

Unable to bear children, I was adopted at birth. So, this was my adopted mother, who I then lost when I was five years old. Thus, the reason, I have collected sisters and a brother through either foster homes or through my Dad who was married to Dawn when she died. We spent many years separated, reuniting when I was 17.

I've never learned anything about my biological parents. Zane was my ONLY flesh and blood. Just me and him blood-related. I created him. He completed me. We called ourselves the dynamic duo. So, to say I think it's a cruel joke being played upon me to have him taken from me is the understatement of the century. It's just not fair on the highest level there is. It's not been an easy life.

So, I cried buckets and buckets and I'm sure more and more tears are forthcoming.

THE NEXT DAY:

Every day, I ask Zane for a sign to let me know he's ok. Sometimes I don't get one (or don't catch it). But, other times, the sign is clear as a bell. I mean, this is a SIGN, is it not?

This ZANE Western Apparel Store is in Pilesgrove, NJ. We HAD to go in. We talked to the owner, whose maiden name is Zane and it's a family business. We told her about Zane, so she and her staff fell all over themselves to help us find some of their branded apparel. So, we settled on a pink ladies T-shirt and a ballcap. Very nice people. And two announcements: If you ordered #TeamZane shirts, they are in and we will get those to you quickly. NYC people, I'm coming for you tomorrow! The plan for now (I think) is to meet at Strawberry Fields in Central Park noon on Saturday. I'll reach out to you guys with specifics!
