Golden Rock Tribute for Zaner

Good Morning from Colorado! Big day for the Zaner yesterday on the 1-month mark of his passing. His first ash scattering tribute ceremony was held here on a spot he'd visited in the past. Lookout Mountain in Golden was a place he once stood with Zachariah and took in the sights from a rock on top of the mountain. So, it seemed fitting to take him there and let a part of him remain to soak in the Colorado sun, wind, and be part of the earth there. Our friends/family that are Denver(ish)-based were present and the tribute was lovely.

I let Zane know that he is the single most extraordinary thing I have ever done in my life and the most incredible gift I have ever received. I let him know we will all be with him again and we will carry his light and love with us always. #CloudSkaterZane

Tonight we see the Black Crowes at Red Rocks. Bucket list and Zane said he'd go with me if this show ever happened. So here we are!
