A Picture of Zane - Crafted by Hand with Love

Happy Sunday #MakeZaneBetter gang! I told you guys I would start showing some of the mementos left for Zane at his Celebration of Life. Believe it or not, I am still digging through the boxes that were packed up, so I'm still finding treasure! I've been shanghai'd with work and car shopping, but I will get through things this week and get properly organized, just it time to gather a good bit of it and get on up to Virginia to do it all again.

But, back to today's Celebration memento. This is a hand drawing of Zane by the talented Monica Knowles Craft. Monica met Zane last year when she visited us in Florida. She's my sister Amber's best friend and we hit it off immediately. Zane was already sick, but she listened to the stories of Zane when he was well and captured him in all his best glory here. I absolutely love this and aren't the skateboards around the frame a neat addition?

Thank you Monica! You've captured my baby just as I want to remember him (although my photo here doesn't give it the proper justice it deserves here but I tried)!
