Reunited...and it Feels so Good...

Hey everyone! Happy Monday! I took me months to gain access to Zane's phone as I didn't have his password. I got things worked out finally with Apple and was able to get his phone reset some time back. I did lose his text history and access to any of his apps, but that's ok. That's all his personal stuff anyway. But I was able to save the photos and I came across this one and saved it for now.

This is Pearl. She was very special to Zane. This was taken in Downtown Orlando on a night they attended the Immerse Project, a night of cultural showcases on outdoor stages all over the city. Zane and Pearl worked together at Tijuana Flats and were starting a special relationship just a mere month or two before his diagnosis. Just when Zane was getting happy with someone in "that" department, his life took a turn with his brain cancer diagnosis. Pearl came to the hospital to visit Zane after his initial surgeries and has always been in touch, through every step of this journey for Zane.

Today, Zane and Pearl will finally see each other for the first time since we were in the FIRST Florida hospital when all of this kicked off last November. Zane would have been putting on his best, shaving and getting all spiffed up for her, so I better help him now look good for their hang today! #MakeZaneBetter
