Learning the Home Health Care Ropes
Happy Friday, Zane fans! We’re still chugging along here, working as a team, learning the ropes of continuous home health care. My hat is off to all those out there who’ve filled these shoes. It’s the most exhausting job ever, but when I see Zane responding to more stimuli, the lack of sleep, baggy eyes and all the rest of it are well worth it.
Vitas is still helping us round the clock with home health aides and nurses. But, that gravy train ends after this weekend. Honestly, it petrifies me, but I just keep learning and asking questions. It’s going to be a real challenge as we march on through this next phase of Zane’s journey, but we keep marching.
Thanks to all for your love and donations. It’s now time to hire some help and the funds will be well used. Also thanks to the Russell Home for donating 2 cases of feeds for his tube feeds. Bless you! We were running low. 😳
Here’s Zaner getting a shave from Uncle Ben this morning. Turns out I’m not very good at that job. Needed a dude to step in on that one!
