Locked in Love Forever
Happy Monday, #MakeZaneBetter fans! Tomorrow, the Russell House is allowing a tour of their facility so we can get a feel of what things will be like should we transfer Zane from Memphis there. We are very excited at this prospect, so please pray we can make all these complicated pieces fit and #BringZaneHome.
Yesterday, I did a key toss of MY lock, which is attached to Zane's at the Overton Square Love Locks installation. Last month, my family placed a lock for Zane there, giving me one key to keep and Ben threw the other in the Mississippi River, which will keep Zane locked with love here. Last week, my extended family placed another lock for me on Zane's lock, and I tossed the second key, also in the Mississippi River. The first two keys will remain on my keychain so I have our Love Locks always with me, and the keys tossed will keep us locked in love forever here in Memphis.
After the key toss, a man approached us with a special message on a piece of paper. I want to share a passage here from the story shared as I feel strongly about its meaning and I couldn't have said it better.
"Those who want to live meaningfully and well must help enrich the lives of others, for the value of a life is measured by the lives it touches. And those who choose to be happy must help others find happiness, for the welfare of each is bound up with the welfare of all."
Thanks you all for loving us, for we love you all. -Sherri and Zane <3 <3
