Who Knows About the Russell Home in Orlando?
Good morning everyone and Happy Father's Day to my Dad friends out there! Things with Zane remain mostly unchanged and I took a break from the computer for a couple days. Mary has returned back to Florida. Debbie will go back to New Jersey tomorrow, while Christine will arrive just about the same time for the week. Having my besties around has been crucial for my sanity. The hospital has clamped back down on visitation, but we shall see what the upcoming week brings.
Meanwhile, we still work through the arduous hurdles of bringing Zane home. We may have a solution though with The Russell Home in Orlando. Thanks to Joe Adamson for bringing this option to light. Mary will take a tour of the facility tomorrow (we hope) and since they are a charity house, we don't have to get all the insurance waivers and acceptances, but there are other medical challenges, but we finally feel like we are getting somewhere perhaps. Have any of my Orlando friends have any experiences with or know more about the Russell Home?
The last night before Mary left, my "girls" here got me out for a dinner and let me feel a little "normal" for a short period. I'm still dreaming about the black beans and goat cheese tamale I had. They also arranged for a second lock to be place on Zane's lock at the Love Lock installation my family discovered last month. Thank you all for caring about us so much.
