And now for an incredibly sweet post...Zane had posted a Christmas list of skate-related items a couple weeks back. Now while most of it was straight up gibberish for the folks who prefer to keep their feet attached to the ground, that didn’t stop a village of do-gooders who didn’t necessarily know one another come together to give Zane his wish list. First, thanks to my sis Debbie for reaching out to Ron at Memphis’s Cheap Skates and putting him to the task of fulfilling the list. Thanks to Racquel for getting word to local skate legend Aaron Shafer and fellow St. Jude researcher and getting him on the case. Ron and Aaron worked on getting the list of goodies together and Aaron visited us at our place with the surprise package for Zaner last night!!
