Celebrating Memorial Day with a Percutaneous Tracheostomy

Happy Memorial Day Zaner fans! Today is a day we may see some progress. Please send good vibes immediately as Zane will undergo a percutaneous tracheostomy within the hour. Efforts to extubate him from the ventilator were unsuccessful and riddled with additional challenges over the weekend.

Pray that Zane gets through this bedside 15-minute procedure with flying colors and that this helps him move forward into his next steps. Pray that he is more comfortable in the days ahead so that even more progress is made continuously.

We still have no idea what Zane's mental state is as he's not been alert enough to make that determination. Let's hope this gets us closer to some answers.
