Hold Your Breath so Zane Can Catch His

So, tonight we rest. Zane rests. We all collectively catch our breath and prepare for another big day tomorrow. We hope Zane will again come off the ventilator, with permanent success this time. It's crucial he gets it right as we don't want to damage his esophageal muscles and we certainly don't want to have to install a trach vent (hole in his throat with tube inserted). So, let's all pray tonight and tomorrow we try again...we will again hold our breaths while he tries again to catch his.

My family found a Love Locks art installation today in Overton Square and Zane now has his Love Lock in place, just as we have our love for him locked in our hearts.
