Praying for a Miracle!
Good morning everyone. Zane is still here with us. He’s had 4 cardiac arrests since Tuesday morning, the last one at 10pm last night. We are hopeful to get him to MRI and find out some things. We need answers to a few hypotheses. But it’s all still speculation at this point what’s causing all this.
The tough, real stuff: I have been told to get my family in place here in Memphis. So some are en route by car already. Others working out flights currently. Even though there are no visitors, the folks here at the hospital are going to bend the rules so I don’t have to go all this alone if this is an end of life situation. The real truth is Zane’s heart has stopped 4x and he’s been shocked back to a pulse 5x. Each time has its consequences. He was 12 minutes without a pulse when I was performing CPR and has never regained consciousness. The lack of oxygen to the brain is a concern but we haven’t been able to do those proper assessments since he’s so unstable.
But that doesn’t mean we give up. Miracles happen every day and I think Zane is worthy of one. Let’s all pray together for one. #MakeZaneBetter
