Brain MRI shows Leptomeningeal Enhancement

Hi gang. Just a quick update here. Zane has had a rather quiet and peaceful day. We are thrilled. He had a short start when he had a CT scan but was calmed quickly and it didn’t become a cardiac event. Since he’s been stable for most of the day, they are going to give the MRI a go. Let’s get some answers!!! So, fingers crossed all goes well as it’s expected to take about 2 hours and they arent as equipped in the MRI for a cardiac event. But we are bringing as much ammo as we can. Praying it won’t be necessary!

UPDATE!! Zane is back from MRI. There were no issues and he champed up like a boss. Let you all know what we hear once the scans are analysed. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Evening update!! Going to attach doc notes. Basically they think it’s leptomeningeal enhancement. The covering of his brain is showing either an infection or cancer spread. We want this to be an infection!!! He will have a lumbar puncture tonight (spinal tap) to check his spinal/brain fluid to see what cells there show. If it’s infection, may take a few days to grow culture to nail down the type of infection. So he will have to stay sedated and in his unresponsive state until it’s all sorted but I’m taking this news as rather good.
