Back to Radiation...and Daily Treatment Socks!
Hello Zaner Fans! The birthday boy is still recovering from all the attention...and it's still pouring in! Thanks everyone! There will be some celebration highlight photos coming, but for now....
Here is a medical update. First, some numbers. TODAY marks 3 months since Zane's brain tumor surgery. TODAY also marks the end of the 2nd of 6 weeks of CSI (cranial spinal irradiation). Once that's done, we plan to take a 4 to 5 week break. Then, we come back for 7 months of chemo. That last number isn't solid, but that's what we are preparing for. After radiation, there will be an evaluation and we can have a better look at the down-the-road picture.
This past week has been mostly all ups. Some days of fatigue, but only one with any real headache and NOT like ones he was having. We had a family invasion of super fun and we miss them all already. We even had a 2-year old toddler (my nephew) running about, plus four adults and the two of us at once and it went great!
