A Day at the Zoo and the Chiefs Win the Superbowl!

To prepare for the SuperBowl, we went to see the chiefs of the Memphis Zoo. Here's our takeaway: Hippos have frightening mouths. Cheetahs never stop pacing. Elephants are super boring and probably are afraid of mice. Monkeys eat each other's poop every single time we see them. Donkeys would prefer you left them alone. Eels with teeth are super creepy. Nile crocodiles are freaking massive! And Kirk's Dik-Dik Antelopes are really big birds...or they still have the signs wrong.

In other words...completely fascinating afternoon!! And we did not get to ride our camel, which is WHY we went. Our camel is on a break for February. I will be having a chat with her come March. I would have liked a text..or at least an email. Sheesh.

Then we went home and made a feast of Superbowl snacks! Well done, Chiefs. Exciting game!
